Linda was like a second mom to me. I met Steven when he moved to Coppell . We hung out at his house a lot, and over time, Linda cared for me as if I was her own. I have countless loving memories of Linda, from my early high school days to later adulthood. She has always been there for me when I needed her. A helpful ear to bounce things off of, allowing me to live with them when times were tough at home, and even a shoulder to cry on from time to time. I am grateful to have had the time with her that I had. She touched so many hearts and will be greatly missed.

Linda was my step-mom for many years. Every time I would go to visit her and my dad, she always had a beautiful smile that brightened any environment. Almost every visit with her ended up being a girl’s day out. She was one of the most generous and understanding people I’ve ever known. When I got older she was such a great support to me during a difficult time in my life and even knew what I was feeling before I told her. She always encouraged me to always be true to myself and to apply myself to do better because she knew that I was capable of doing something with my life that no one else in my family had accomplished. She always seemed to see the best in people regardless of their background or upbringing. At times I thought she was nitpicking but I realized that she was trying to teach me things that I was never taught in my youth. And I will always appreciate the things she did, who she was and the fact that even after her and my dad were no longer together she still made me feel like I was a member of her family and that her love never changed. She was a very loyal, loving and kind person and her passing will leave a empty void in the heart of everyone close to her. She will definitely be missed.
