Michelle Saunders

Michelle attended Irving High School and subsequently attended business school. She was a licensed realtor in the Dallas area for many years, having worked for the Las Colinas Association and Ebby Halliday Realtors. She was married to Robert Saunders on January 30, 1982 in Maui, Hawaii.

An avid golfer for many years of her life, Michelle was a member of the Golf Club affiliated with the Hackberry Creek Country Club where she resided in Irving, Texas. As an officer in the Hackberry Creek Women’s Club, she served in many capacities, among which was Program Director for several years in succession.

Everyone who knew Michelle was touched by her effervescent personality and radiant smile. She was always gracious, friendly, and welcoming to newcomers to her neighborhood and to the Women’s Club. Throughout her illness, her disposition remained extraordinarily cheerful and positive, making those around her feel hopeful for her recovery.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Robert Saunders, of Irving, Texas, siblings Paul Manning, LuAnn Ward, and Lisa Trevino, stepdaughter Shelly Atteberry, step-grandson Brandon Saunders, and great-grandson Dalton Saunders. Michelle has many good friends, all who loved her dearly and will miss her greatly.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 25, at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home Chapel in Coppell, Texas. Viewing at 1:00 and Service at 2:00 PM, with a reception immediately following. Services will be streaming live on Facebook at 2pm.
