Nancy Heyland, 69, of Coppell, Texas passed away on May 23,2018. She was born in Amarillo, Texas on January 19,1949. Nancy Graduated from Adrian High School and received her Bachelor Degree from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY. She was married to Bob Heyland on November 18, 1989 in Kilgore, TX. They lived in Abilene for over 20 years. After his passing, she moved to Coppell to be closer to her daughter and family.
Nancy retired in 2008 from her career with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Texas in Abilene as a Senior Claims Supervisor. She previously attended Beltway Park Baptist Church in Abilene. She most recently was attending Coppell Bible Fellowship and was a part of a prayer group. She had a strong faith in the Lord and was a true prayer warrior. She enjoyed reading, gardening, attending and working flea markets, and spending time with her family. She loved football, visiting the casino on occasion, and Christian TV shows.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Heyland, Lee Amason (Father), and Bobbie Moffat (mother). She is survived by Tara Dooner (daughter) and husband Sean of Plano, TX. Barbara Ann Montgomery and Billie Jo Gage (Stepdaughters) of Conroe, TX , and Grandchildren Collin Dooner (Plano) , Kristen Montgomery, Timothy Montgomery, Sean Gage, and Christopher Gage (Conroe, TX) . She is also survived by her sisters Anne Moore of Oklahoma City, OK and Susan Revill of Frost, TX.
