Robert Gordon Luce

He spent many of his early years racing sailboats on Lake Michigan with his brother, Tom Luce, and graduated from Michigan State in 1967.

In 1969 he moved to Texas and had resided in the mid cities area of Dallas/Fort Worth ever since.

In the late 1980’s he started an office furniture refurbishing company that was later purchased by Steelcase Furniture.

 Anyone who met Bob will never forget his enthusiasm for sailing, football, and being near the water. His passion for his family and drive for work kept him occupied until 80 years of age.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years, Karen Luce, son Robert K. Luce, his wife Teresa and grandsons Bobby & Reese, who live in Coppell. Son Michael C. Luce, his wife Amy and grandchildren Mason, Audrey, & Elijah, who live in Holland, Michigan.

Funeral services will be held at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home in Coppell, on Saturday, April 12th at 2:00 pm.
