Rolando Chavarria Sr.

Our dear father Rolando Chavarria Sr., age 64, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano. He was born on May 28, 1951 in Coahuila, Mexico to Nicolás Chavarria and Maria Refugia Moreno. He is survived by his three beloved children. His oldest daughter Marisa Chandler, her husband Jerry and their four children - Andrea, Wesley, Camden, and Kennady. His son Rolando Chavarria Jr., his wife Blanca and their three children - Victoria, Olivia, and Christian. And his youngest daughter Mirna Solano, her husband David and their two children- Bella and Santiago. Rolando was a pioneer who left Mexico and came to the United States to make a better life. He worked hard and planted deep roots in Dallas, Texas which provided endless opportunities to his children who will continue to be fruitful because of the sacrifices he made in life. His smile was infectious, and he loved listening to his corridos. Los Tigres Del Norte was his favorite music band. We will miss you dad, but we know you are watching over us from above.
