The Nixon family sends our deepest and sincerest condolences to Mr. Emmanuel and Mrs. Thalenta Socks, as well as the entire Socks family. We pray for peace that surpasses all understanding, as you move forward during this difficult time. Please know that we love your family as our own and we are here if you need us! Simi was a great friend to Jha’Kyric before he passed away in 2011. He even came to my son’s football game as a way of showing support. He knew my son was having a hard time dealing with Jha’Kyric’s death and he took time to show up and encourage him. Simi was a kind and caring person, who lived to positively impact the lives of those around him. May God bless you all and give you strength!

My deepest condolences to the Ncube-Socks family. I never had the pleasure of meeting Simi in person, although somehow I feel I have from the considerable stories Thalenta shared with me during her visit to England. He seemed like a great, fun loving young man.

The most memorable one was of the time when he had given his mom a lift and they had stopped at a takeaway for some food. After a while Thalenta returned to the car with food, and as she was about to get inside the car, with disbelief Simi asked her "mom where do you think you are going with that food?" due to the fact he loved his car and would keep it in pristine condition, cleaning it at every opportunity. He was shocked his mum knowing this had retuned with food to the car.

I pray that you find peace and comfort in our ever loving Father whose promise is never to leave you nor forsake you.

Joshua 1:9, it says "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you where you go.
