Stefan Thomas Elizardo, was joyfully welcomed into this world, on October 14, 1986, in Dallas, TX, by his parents, Wendy and Eddie Elizardo. He took his leave from this earthly world, with his parents still by his side, on December 4, 2019, to find his heavenly peace, and to be reunited with his beloved grandparents; Grandma Angie, (Angelina Elizardo), his sweet Papa, (Thomas Freund) and his recently departed and dearly loved grandmother, known as Jo, (Joanna Freund).
He leaves behind to hold and cherish his memory - his parents, Eddie and Wendy Elizardo, his loving sister, Gianna Marie Elizardo, a beloved Great Aunt, Rose Arnell Green, and an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends as well as the devoted family cat, Diablo.
Stefan lived most of his life in Coppell, TX, participating in all the city had to offer, from sports leagues at a young age, to serving as a Soccer Referee and Lifeguard for the city parks, to the many activities around town, and the local holiday celebrations and parades.
Growing up, Stefan especially enjoyed visiting his grandparents; whether it was hanging out with all of the other cousins at his Grandma Angie’s house, engaging in loud, boisterous play, or entertaining his Jo & Papa at their lake house, with his never-ending energy and personality.
He enjoyed travel of all kinds, from world-wide adventures to Finland, France, England and Spain, to the family vacation trips to Mexico and Florida, as well as frequent road trips throughout Texas.
After graduating from Coppell High School in 2005, Stefan attended North Lake College, followed by Weatherford College. He took his interest in health and nutrition to a long-held job with The Vitamin Shop, where he enjoyed sharing his knowledge and experience in helping others. Stefan enjoyed working with people and moved into a career as a commercial and residential Property Manager, where he was able to continue interacting and assisting people by helping them with their property needs.
Stefan had a good heart. He was thoughtful and kind. He always looked for ways to please and surprise those he loved. He especially enjoyed listening to the Russ Martin radio show in the afternoon, and always had a funny story to share that he had heard. Stefan was quick with a joke, to lighten a mood, and quick with a hug to let you know he cared.
Our hearts are broken, but we are happy he is at peace. We will miss you Bud. Forever and always.
If you desire to make a tribute to Stefan, his family suggests a donation to Cure PSP, to honor the memory of his beloved Papa, Thomas Coleman Freund.
