Tanner loved spending time with his family. He was his Grandma’s best friend, dinner/reminiscing companion and movie date. Nicknamed “The Baby Whisperer” and Uncle Bubba, he loved visiting his nieces, Teddi and Stella, and many cousins. Big family gatherings with his brother Sal, sister Madison, and the rest of the extended family were what Tanner enjoyed most. His family/friends knew him by many names: T-Man, Tannor, Pudge, Boo, Cutie Patootie, and Bubba Tex. He would answer to any of them.
If not around family, you could find Tanner socializing at the Cigar Bar or driving around Texas blaring country music in his one of his many trucks. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Tanner. Being out at Uncle Tom’s land is where Tanner thrived — he enjoyed hunting hogs/deer, taking care of the cows, and fishing at the pond.
Tanner was an avid storyteller with a vivid imagination and animated personality. He captured people’s attention through speaking and writing stories about his life, historical events, and family members. His exceptional memory and knowledge of history impressed everyone as he never failed to recall, in detail, the events of a particular day.
Tanner is survived by his Mother Stephanie; Father Richard; Brother Sal (Traci); Sister Madison (Jack); Grandmother Dottie; Nieces Teddi and Stella; more family than we can mention and loved by many many more.
A celebration of life for Tanner will be held at Rejoice Lutheran Church (532 E Sandy Lake Rd, Coppell TX 75019) at 11:00 AM-12:00PM on Wednesday, August 10th Immediately followed by a reception at the Church.
