Touba Tahmassi, sweet wife to Saffar Tahmassi, passed away in her home in Coppell, Texas on June 26th, 2016, while surrounded by her loving family. Touba was daughter to Nasrollah Aghababaee and Jahan Sobhi, and sister to Ezat and Azimeh. She was born in Najafabad, Iran in 1935. She moved with her family to Abadan, Iran where she began a career with the Iranian National Oil Company. Shortly after the revolution in Iran, Touba immigrated to the United States where she started a new life with her family in North Texas. In 2007, Touba was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Touba was lovingly known as “Maman Naz” to her many grandchildren. She was a beautiful soul, and full of never-ending love and kindness. She is survived by her husband Saffar, children Kianoosh, Mehranoosh, Farzad, Ramin, and Koorosh, 12 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. If desired, a memorial contribution can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Touba’s name.
