Troy L. Ford of Irving, TX passed away on June 28, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral Services will be held at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home, Coppell, TX at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 1. He is survived by his wife of over 63 years, Natalie, his three daughters, Donna Riccardi, Teresa Nelson and Michelle Russell and two sons, Troy L. Ford, Jr. and Gregory Ford. Eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janet Lambert, and his parents, Fred and Bessie Ford of Jonesboro, Louisiana. Troy was a machine tool electrician by trade. He loved all sports both watching and participating. He was the honorary Captain and Center for the 1951 Louisiana Basketball State Champs. He especially enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren participate in various sports and activities.
