Varghese "Verghese" Xavier Alumparambil

On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, Verghese Alumparambil (AKA Allan/Kunjan) beloved husband and father of two daughters passed away at the age of 68. He has gone on to live in joy reunited with his mother, father, beloved brother, and sister in heaven. Verghese was born on December 16, 1953, in Kochi, India to Raphael and Eliza. He was a loving son who followed his father everywhere in his childhood as his father went about running a business and later battling and passing away early of cancer to then following in his father’s footsteps by building a business of his own just like his father. After his father passed, he lovingly doted on his mother and later moved to America with his siblings. He received a technical degree in automotive repair in Mumbai, India in his younger years where he lived with his brother.

Once arriving to The United States he started his career in the automotive industry early on in his brother-in-law, the late Rajan Mathew’s, workshop in Irving, TX. He went on to eventually founding his own automotive repair business that he started with his wife in 1989 named U.S. Car Care and ran it successfully for the last 33 years. His business was his passion, and helping others was what gave him joy and fulfillment. His customers were not just customers, they were also his friends and family that he was forever grateful for. Verghese and his wife, Blessy raised two daughters: Ashley Alan & Dr. Steffaney Alan (Ashu & Chottu). His girls were his pride & joy. He would fondly joke that he was a “car doctor” and that he made his youngest daughter into a “human doctor”. He had a contagious laugh, a bright smile, and always a can-do attitude. Verghese loved to jump in and help those in need because he found purpose in helping others, especially with the skills he learned in automotive repair. He also enjoyed looking sharp on the weekends outside of work. He most enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, being part of everyone's lives, and also being the life of the party.

Verghese is survived by his wife Blessy, his daughters Ashley & Dr. Steffaney Alan, and his to-be son-in-law Mathew. His brothers Stanley Allen & Andrew Alumparambil. His sisters Susan Mathew and Sheila Kalloor. His brother-in-law Joseph Kalloor and sisters-in-law Shine Allen, Irene Alumparambil, & Baby Alumparambil. As well as his beloved nieces and nephews: Ammu, Ashwin, Renda, Russell, Alyssa, Ava, Olivia, Audrey, Ken, Tiffany, Clover, Roshen, Manpreet, Manson, Linda, Tommy, Santi, Cristal, Abi, Katelynn, Kayden, Scindia, Geo, Glen, & Phil.
