Walter Scott Robbs Jr.

Walter Scott Robbs Jr. – Scott, 74, died after fighting a hard battle against cancer for a little over year on November 24, 2020 at Medical City Arlington. He was born July 27th 1946, in Gurdon Arkansas, the son of Walter Scott Robbs Sr. and Harriet Ruth Helton Funk.

Scott Graduated from Gurdon High School class of 1964. He joined the Air Force to fight for our country in January of 1969 – October 1974 in the Vietnam War. After separating from the Air Force, Scott went back to school and earned a BBA, continued his education and got a degree in computer science making a very successful career working as a computer programmer for 40 years. Scott worked his whole life supporting those he loved, he was a very devoted father raising his pride and joys Jennifer Bailey and Daniel Scott.

He was predeceased by his father, Walter Scott Robbs Sr. – Dub. Survived by his Mother, Harriett Funk, Sister Katherine Cole, his two children Jennifer Robbs, and Daniel Robbs, and his many Nieces and Nephews he considered his own children.

A service of remembrance will be held 1:00 pm Friday January 8, 2021 at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211. Those who wish to remember Scott in a special way, please join us to pay your final respects. Arrangements by Rolling Oaks Funeral Home Coppell, TX
