Opa was the son of Karl and Hildegard, and one of five children: Carl, Margaret, Helena, Robert, and Walter. In 1950, the family moved to Dallas, Texas, where he later attended Sunset High School. He went on to study at UT Austin, earning a B.S. in Computer Science—an education that reflected a disciplined mind and a steady commitment to building a meaningful life through knowledge and work.
An entrepreneur by nature and vocation, Opa approached life with purpose and quiet determination. He will be remembered with respect for the life he shaped and the lasting impact of his presence on those who knew him.
Opa is survived by his grandson Jeremiah (Lynsi) Skiba; his brother Robert Weber; and his sister Margaret. He will be greatly missed.
