Al Parker

Al was born February 12, 1954 to Warren Parker and Florence (Ehmcke) Parker in Deckerville, Michigan.

He served in the United States Army until 1979 and later worked as a Civil Servant on Fort Hood.

Al enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, cars, coffee, motorcycles and working in shop which was his getaway.

He is survived by his wife, Geri Parker of Lampasas; three sons, Allen Parker (spouse Josephine Parker) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Josh Velfling of Houston and Matt Parker (spouse Crystal Parker) of Copperas Cove; two daughters, Nikki Toles (spouse Dave Toles) of Michigan and Jenny Smith (spouse Greg Smith) of Portland, Texas and fourteen grandchildren.

The Parker family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2011 in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove with Jim Porterfield officiating. Cremation will follow.

Services have been entrusted to the care of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.
