Alleen Mildred Lyons

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years, Arthur E. Lyons, Jr. and her son Arthur (Terry) E. Lyons, III.

She leaves as her legacy a life of passion for her family and service to the Lord. She was a loving wife and devoted mother as her husband served as a Pastor and Army Chaplain. She was a teacher, church organist, and served her church in numerous ways.

Alleen is survived by her sister, Dorothy Reid, her four children, Marlyn Marshall, Mark, Paul, and Michael Lyons, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends.

A visitation for Alleen will be held on Friday evening, March 15, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 211 W. Ave. B, Copperas Cove, Texas 76522. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church at 1:00 pm, 518 E. Highway 190, Copperas Cove, TX 76522 with Pastor Bernard Schey officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations go to Trinity Lutheran Church.
