Anna McFarland

Services for Anna “Nancy” McFarland, 84, of Copperas Cove, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Clear Creek Baptist Church in Kempner with burial immediately following. Visitation with family will follow in the fellowship hall.

Mrs. McFarland died March 9, 2015. She was born April 7, 1930, in Philadelphia, Pa., to Harry Kulp and Anna Klaus.

She worked for the Reading Railroad and Home Insurance before marrying Bobby McFarland in 1958. Together they traveled many places. They brought their first home on Park Avenue in Copperas Cove in 1962. She was an active member of Clear Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed participating in several ministries offered there.

Her love for the Lord and her sense of humor were known by all who knew her.

Survivors include Bobby McFarland; her older sister, Jean Catherine of New Jersey; three children, son, Bobby McFarland Jr. and his wife, Denise, daughter, Barbara Leasley and her husband, Kenneth, and daughter, Susan Morrison and her husband, Dwayne; seven grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
