Bernard Ray Grose

Born in Orono, Maine, he joined the U.S. Air Force upon graduation from High School. He was stationed in Texas were he met and married his wife, Margaret Poynter. He lived a full life and will be greatly missed by his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Margaret Ann Grose of Copperas Cove, Texas, his son; Allan Ray Grose of Waco, Texas, his daughter; Darleena Carey-Lanier of Rockport, Texas, grandsons; Robert Carey of Bryan College Station, Texas, and Leonard Ray Grose of Waco, Texas, three great grandsons, and two sisters; Phyllis Tozier and Eleanor Burris

There will be a Memorial Service held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 30, 2024 in the Chapel of Crawford Bowers Funeral Home, located at 211 West Avenue B, Copperas Cove, Texas 76522. Following the service there will be time for food and fellowship in the hospitality room of Crawford Bowers.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 1 pm at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery where he will be receiving Full Military Honors. Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery is located at 11463 Fort Hood Street, Killeen, Texas 76522
