Billy Ralph Mitchel

Billy led a very fulfilling and colorful life. He was known for being an exceptionally kind hearted loving family man. He retired from Ranching in April 2015. He was known for his knowledge and horsemanship abilities having done everything from horseshoeing, rodeoing to horse training.

He was a well-rounded rancher and cowboy. Outside of being a hard worker he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Olna Bea Mitchel.

He is survived by his wife and love of his life Linda Mitchel; Sisters: Nancy Sue Mitchel and Kathryn Juanice Ruston; Son: Billy Joe Mitchel; Daughter and Son in Law: April and Jason Scott; Grandsons: Blake Brosh, Cody Mitchel, Colton Mitchel and Cooper Mitchel; Great Granddaughter: Ella Brosh along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Being a true cowboy’s cowboy, this is not a final goodbye, just a "see ya later!” Keep your hat on, spurs sharp, boots shined until we meet next time.

Viewing will be held at Crawford-Bowers funeral home in Copperas Cove on Thursday, December 31st , 2015 from 10am until Noon.

Graveside service will be held at 2pm Thursday, December 31st , 2015 at Sharp cemetery.
