

Brenda Winegar passed away on April 21, 2025. She was born on July 10, 1934, in Kettering, England, to George and Gladys Bulley, and throughout her life, she demonstrated unwavering love, strength, and compassion to all who knew her.
Brenda was a devoted wife to Lester Lee Winegar, with whom she shared many cherished years until his passing.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, George and Gladys, and her husband, Lester.
Brenda means "sword" or "torch." It symbolizes strength, illumination, and protection. It's a name that carries a sense of resilience and light—quite fitting for someone who left such a lasting impact on those around them.
Her legacy will continue through her children: Debra and Michael Morton, Yvonne and Mitchell Hopkins, Richard and Wendy Banta, Tony and Joy Banta, and Steven and Kay Lyn Banta.
Brenda also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her sister, Margaret Hitchcock.
Her family, whom she loved deeply, brought her endless joy and pride, and they will forever cherish her memory.
A Graveside Service to honor Brenda's life will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542.
Brenda's kindness, warmth, and love will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Her family invites all who knew and loved her to join them in celebrating the life of a remarkable woman.
