No services for Bruce Michael Harmon of Kempner are planned at this time. Mr. Harmon died on March 18, 2018, at a local hospital. He was born October 10, 1949 at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C. to Donald E. Harmon and Elizabeth (Betty) Martha Leutert Harmon.
Mr. Harmon was a 1967 graduate of Copperas Cove High School and a 1969 graduate of Central Texas College (Engineering Tech/Draftsman). He served in the United States Marine Corps from October 8, 1969 to August 21, 1972, earning the rank of Sgt. E-5. His service included a tour of duty in Vietnam.
He married Elizabeth Ann Wren on July 28, 1973 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Copperas Cove, Texas. He was a Professional Land Surveyor and the owner of Harmon and Associates Land Surveying Company since 1987. His passion was painting--pictures, motorcycles, cars, trucks; you name it and he probably painted it. He was an avid motorcyclist and loved his old '46 Chevy truck. He also loved animals, especially dogs and his "Brown Horse."
Mr. Harmon was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Betty Harmon; his brother, Kevin Harmon; his mother and father-in-law, Johnnie Mae and Worth S. Wren; sisters-in-law, Nelda Harvey Wren and Katherine Wear Wren.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Harmon of Kempner; one daughter, Kaulean S. Harmon of Austin, Texas, two grand dogs-Angie and Zac; brothers-in-law, Worth Wren Jr. of Fort Worth, Carl Wren of Manchaca, James Wren of Lampasas; sister-in-law, Betty Harmon of Cameron; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many DEAR FRIENDS.
