Carolyn Marie Struntz

Carolyn Struntz 79 of Copperas Cove passed away on July 12, 2026. Carolyn was born on December 1, 1946 to Herb and Marie Heffner in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. She graduated from Bloomington High School.

Carol was married to her husband Bernard Struntz for 59 years.

Carol loved helping people. She welcomed customers into Cooks Mini Mart for 10 years. For the last 19 years, Carol provided excellent customer service at Copperas Cove Keith Ace Hardware.

She loved taking care of her flowers, gathering family together, and celebrating holidays, especially Christmas.

She was preceded in death by her parents Herb and Marie Heffner and daughter-in-law Julie Struntz.

She is survived by her husband Bernard Struntz, her children Teresa (Greg) Burton of Livingston, Wisconsin, Christina (Mark) Hales of Copperas Cove, Texas, Bernard Struntz Jr. of Wisconsin, grandchildren Heather, Phil, Nick, Kimberly, and Jeremiah and 6 great grandchildren; as well as her sister Helen (Earnie) Struntz and brothers Roger (Diane) Heffner and Robert (Patty) Heffner.

The family would like to thank Our Hospice House and AccentCare hospice team for their caring support.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
