Catherine (Cathy) was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on December 15, 1959 to Joseph T. & Elvira G. Childers.
Cathy married Charles (Chuck) Washburn Sr on July 29, 1992. Charles passed away on December 27, 2013 at the age of 65. Cathy passed away at the age of 65 on Saturday, August 16, 2025. She is survived by their son Charles Washburn Jr, stepchildren: James, Krystal and Jennifer as well as numerous grandchildren. Cathy is also survived by her mother, Elvira and her brother, Wayne.
Cathy had a daughter, Mandy Lee Bradfute that passed shortly after birth in 1976.
Cathy had a passion for cooking a feast that could feed an army, she was known for making the best potato salad. Her joy and passion came from being around loved ones, she was a wonderful caretaker and supporter. She was a fan of good country music, dancing.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 11:00 am.
