Christa Irmgard Green

While spending part of her youth in a forest house in Bad Pyrmont, she developed a love for nature and

long walks.

She later married Lee Green and had 2 daughters. Typical of Army families, they moved several times

between Germany and the US. With Lee’s retirement from the army, they settled in Copperas Cove,

Texas. Christa enjoyed visiting her children and grandchildren wherever their travels took them. At

home, she loved tending to her garden, feeding the birds, squirrels & deer, caring for her dogs and

regular chats with her friends.

Christa is predeceased by her husband Lee. She is survived by her daughters Conny Green & Miriam

Lamaute, her son-in-law Kenley Lamaute and her grandchildren Addison (17), Gavin (16) & Torran (11).

Services will be held at 11:00 am on 19 October at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove,

followed by interment at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Afterward, the family will host a

reception at her home.
