Curtis was a loving, caring and sharing son, brother, uncle, husband, father and friend.

Curtis Leon Williams, 71, was born June 18, 1947 in McKenneville, FL to the late John H. and Christine R Williams. He was reared and educated in Alabama public school system. Curtis proudly served in the Military for 20 years. He did two tours in Vietnam where he was awarded a Purple Heart. He retired as a SSG in 1988.

On January 19, 1978 Curtis was joined in Holy Matrimony with Rosa N. Sanders.

His sweet loving memories will live on and will be cherished by his loving wife of 40 years. Stepdaughters Artura Sanders, Alesia (Tyrone) Brantley, eight brothers, granddaughters Tyra Brantley and Alexis Wilkins. A Host of nieces, nephews and dear friends. He is preceded in rest by his parents, stepbrother Petry Sanders and two sisters.

Biography

Curtis Leon Williams was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Curtis will be remembered as a very exceptional person.

      Simply stated, Curtis was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Curtis leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Curtis Leon Williams.
