Daniel Keffer Henderson

Bud was born April 5, 1935 in Clairton, Pennsylvania to John Henderson and Stella (Green) Henderson.

He served in the United States Army as a Communications Specialist in Europe from 1955 until 1957. After serving in the United States Army he was a Tool and Die Operator for almost 35 years. He also served as a volunteer fireman for 12 years.

He touched the lives of many and will always be remembered for his generosity and sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Roberta Henderson of Kempner; two sons, Ricky Henderson of Texas and David Henderson of Pennsylvania and two sisters, Audrey Bailey of Pennsylvania and Eileen Carothers of Florida.

The Henderson family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2011 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
