Funeral services for Daniel Phillip Young, 43, of Copperas Cove, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Copperas Cove with Father Chris Downey officiating. Mr. Young died May 15, 2013, at his residence.
He was born April 13, 1970, at Fort Hood to Monica Rita (O’Connor) Young and Donald Peter Young.
He was raised and educated in Copperas Cove and worked as a carpenter in construction throughout Central Texas for many years.
He loved fishing and as a builder, loved to see a building go together.
Daniel is survived by his mother, Monica; two brothers, James Young of Killeen and Dennis Young of Copperas Cove; two sisters, Kathy Tilque (Gilbert) of Arizona and Amy Young of Colfax, Wis. Daniel will forever live in the heart of his loving, only daughter, Errian Young of Copperas Cove.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, with a wake service at 7 p.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Copperas Cove, which is in charge of arrangements.
