Donald Savage Mosher

He was born on Feb. 22, 1936 at Keene New Hampshire to William Lester Mosher and Jennie Evelyn Savage. He was raised and educated in Keene, New Hampshire. He married Betty Louise Boone on April 2, 1966 in Copperas Cove, Texas.

He retired from the U.S. army in 1974 after 20 years service at the rank of Staff Sargent. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars.He retired from the city of Copperas Cove after working there from 1974 to 1992.

He belonged to the Copperas Cove Police academy for over 15 years where he was a member of the first inagural class in 1997. He was a member of the alumni association which he was instrumental in starting. He was also active in founding the Kiddo Card Identification Program. He also graduated the Copperas cove Citizens Fire Academy.

He enjoyed assisting with the annual bike races and police department projects. His hobbies were wood crafting and clock repairs.

He is survived by his wife Betty Louise Mosher of Copperas Cove, daughters Susan Jean Hudson Of Newport News VA,; and Janet Barrington, of Wadena, MN; brother, William (Billy) Mosher of Surrey NH; sister, Virginia Smith, of Summerfield, Fla.; grandchildren, Courtney Hudson, Ryan Hudson, Gabriel Hudson, Janet Barrington, Heather Barrington and Melissa Barrington;

and numerous nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Eddie Mosher.
