Mrs. Donna Krempin Schneider

Mrs. Donna Schneider, age 63, a lifetime resident of Copperas Cove passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at her residence. Donna was born March 7, 1946 in Lampasas, Texas to Victor Krempin and Wilma (Irvine) Krempin.

Donna graduated from Copperas Cove High School with the class of 1964. She was a Civil Servant on Fort Hood for many years.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Copperas Cove.

She enjoyed growing flowers, sewing, eating Ice Cream, traveling and most of all her grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Wilma Krempin.

She is survived by her husband, Weldon Schneider of Copperas Cove; a son Marvin Schneider and his wife Christina of Rowlett; a daughter, Carla Kind and her husband Harlan of Austin; three grandchildren, Trey and Mathew Kind and Daniel Schneider; her father, Victor “Vic” Krempin of Copperas Cove and a sister, Margaret Ann Martin and her husband Don of Copperas Cove.

The Schneider family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2010 at Grace United Methodist Church in Copperas Cove with Pastor’s Herzog and Stephen Schmidt officiating. Interment services will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Copperas Cove.

Serving as pallbearers will be Delton Cassens, Lawrence Meissner, Bill Price, Delton Weiser, Michael Irvine and Gary Krempin. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Spangenberg, Wes Morris, Glynn Powell, Scotty Summers, Myron Schneider, Mark Schneider, Mike Schneider, Phil White, Dennis Meissner, Bobby Lowther and Homer Perryman.
