

Doris Voight-Hamm, age 93, of Copperas Cove, Texas passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025. A Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, September 18 at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home of Copperas Cove. Services for Doris Voight-Hamm, 93, will be at Grace United Methodist Church in Copperas Cove on Friday, September 19 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Brad Slaten officiating.
Doris was born on December 28, 1931 to Alfred and Edna (Kunz) Spiegelhauer of Bartlett, Texas, both deceased. She married Milton J. Voight on June 24, 1951 and they were married 37 years at the time of his death in June 1988. She later married Elmer Hamm on July 6, 1996 and was married until his death in May 2008.
She loved baking and cookies were her specialty. She worked for the Copperas Cove Independent School District as the Food Service Director for 34 years, retiring in June 2001. Doris has been a member of Grace United Methodist Church for many years. She was also a member of the Cove Shrine Club and the Bluebonnet Model A Club in Copperas Cove.
Preceding her in death was a son, Tommy J. Voight, who died in November 1980; a sister, Margie Keller; and brother, Larry Spiegelhauer.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Houser and her husband Bob of Lacey, Washington, and Cindy Yancey and her husband Dan of Copperas Cove; six grandchildren, Robert Houser and his wife Yelena of Redmond, Washington, Bryan Houser and his wife Robbi of Sagle, Idaho, Jeff Fankel and his wife Kelsey of Castroville, Texas, Jennifer (Fankel) Parker and her husband Milton of Copperas Cove, Texas, Brooke Yancey and her fiancé Miles Wallace of Plano, Texas, and Shawn Easley and his wife Krista of Salado, Texas. She also has twelve great grandchildren, Andrew and Nick Houser; Robert III and Gary Houser; Madden, Manning, and Macklyn Parker; Jaxon, Jace, and Jett Fankel; and Braden and Braxton Easley.
