Earl Lester "Buzz" Beck

He was born on February 27, 1971 in Fairbanks, Alaska and passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at a Killeen hospital. Buzz was a 1989 graduate of Copperas Cove High School. He attended TSTI in Waco, Central Texas College and Texas A&M in Killeen. He was an Eagle Scout.

Buzz was an ASE Certified Master Mechanic. Over the years he was employed at Beck’s Exxon in Copperas Cove, Ben’s Service Center and currently Dodge Country of Killeen. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also loved to garden, scuba dive and best of all spending time with his dog Chloe.

Buzz is survived by his wife, Janee Wilkinson-Beck; son, Garrett C. Beck; daughter, Ashlee Brookshire; mother, Sylvia L. and husband Kenneth Kimes; father, Richard Monroe Beck Sr. and wife Judy Arnold-Beck; brother Shane Arnold; grandmother Dorothy D. Sadler; Aunt, Margaret D. Warren; Aunt Jimmie Beavers; Father in-law Jim Wilkinson and mother in-law Marie. He was preceded in death by his brothers Richard M. Beck Jr., and B. Shoen Arnold, and beloved pet Chloe.

Family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the ASPCA. Funeral services are entrusted to Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Copperas Cove.
