Eleanor Homan

She was born June 21, 1931 in Boise City, OK and passed away December 11, 2014 in Copperas Cove.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lester Homan Sr. son Steven Homan, parents Oscar and Daisy Wood, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.

She is survived by son Gene Homan Jr., son Randy Homan and wife Dondi, son Leslie Homan and wife Debbie, daughter Brenda Hutton and husband Mark, son Darrell Homan and wife Kelly, 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, brother, John Wood and wife Anna, sister Dora Johnson and husband Rick.

Eleanor was a military wife who raised 5 sons and 1 daughter. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved crocheting, sewing, traveling and working on her yard. Her 4-legged companion, Muffin, was a source of great joy. One of her fondest childhood memories was listening to the Grand Ole Opry with her Daddy.

She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in her honor.

The family will receive visitors from 4-6pm Sunday December 14, 2014 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.
