Well buddy I'm here. I didn't want to see this because I have to admit it's real and I don't want to. I went to the central dugout the other night and I just wept. How many times did we go up there walying the dog jus to bs lol. All the car rides and the races. All the memories are like an hour ago. It's not ever gonna be the same without you. Time can't always heal. All my love to Angie , the kids, Mom and dad, Robin and the whole family. I love ya buddy.

Eric our hearts were so saddened to read of your passing. Whenever we talked about childhood memories you were included in the topics. You were Douglas' first friend and will remain with that honor forever. We send our deepest sympathy to Angier and your children. They are all reflections of the wonderful husband and dad they love. To Patti and Mike we send our love and prayers to help you through this difficult time. Wish we were near but know we wrap hugs around you both. Reading Eric's guest book shows what a wonderful gentleman you raised. Our memories will always make us smile when we talk about our little neighbor kid that gave so much joy to us and especially to Douglas. Sending our love to you.
Michael and Canice Tolin and David, Katie, Patti, Stephen, Douglas and Jean Ann. We all love you Eric!

My heart is broken and my world has turned upside down, my life will never be the same. I remember you from the day you were born, I was in the delivery room, to they day you were no longer in this world. All that you had done over your short years always made me a proud papa. I worried when you went to Iraq, twice, and each time you came back I was both proud and relieved. I was overwhelmed by all the comments that were sent saying how you touched their lives, help them into becoming the men that they are today, both as a drill sergeant, being their NCO, or just as fellow soldier. You were very modest and kept to yourself what others told us about you. I will never forget when I received that call that changed my world. Although I would tell you that I was proud of you and you would kind of shrug it off, you will never really know how much I was proud of you and that you are my hero. Someday we will meet again, until then I love you very much. "40 rounds"
