Eric Travis Reid

Eric was born July 14, 1988 to Eric C. Reid and Jessica V.(Rhodes) Reid.

He served in the United States Air Force from August 18, 2009 until July 26, 2010.

He was Church of Christ by faith.

Eric enjoyed playing video games, tai kwon do, reading, running, hiking, art and the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Suellen Reid of Puerto Rico; a son, Kovach Reid of Puerto Rico; his parents, Eric C. and Jessica V. Reid of Copperas Cove; a sister, Sapphire Reid of Copperas Cove; his maternal grandparents, James P. and Gloria F. Rhodes of Sutherlin, Oregon and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The Reid family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, August 19, 2011 in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. Interment services will follow with Military honors in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Carl Reid, Kip Reid, Seneca Reid, Edward Brunson, Dwight Mathis, and Orenzo Daniels.

In place of usual remembrances the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a special account that has been set up to take care of Kovach in the years to come at 1st National Bank Texas Memorial Charity Funds for Kovach Reid checking acct# 018301239.
