Frank was my Adjutant during my tenure as Senior-Vice Commander and as Commander of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 147, Killeen, Texas. He was great at his job and a stickler for the paperwork of local chapters required by the national headquarters. He was always available for chapter functions unless there were family, competitive shooting events or the annual Gathering of the Clans in Salado, Texas. He always wore a smile and had a positive attitude. He made a positive impact wherever he served and loved his family. RIP! Salute!๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

We are truly sorry to hear of Frank's passing...he and things he taught many young men in scouting will be etched in their hearts forever..my son obtained the rank of Eagle Scout because of men like Frank. God bless and thank you for sharing him with all the Scouts. ๐Ÿ™

Frank you were a great friend. I remember when you came to work at C4TD. Within a couple of weeks you showed me the kind of man you were; trustworthy, kind, joyful, filled with life, and a great friend! You taught me a lot about life, and how to live it! I will miss you!

I shot competitions with Frank at the Copperas Cove Pistol Club for many years. He was always there with a warm greeting whenever I'd arrive at the range for a match. Frank was a good friend and will be sincerely missed.

On behalf of Clan Lindsay and all the Scottish festival convenors, we send our love and prayers to Lynne and her family. Frank was a true friend and a light in all of our lives. We will miss him terribly but hold to the promise of seeing him again in Paradise.

Janet and I were really crush to hear about Frank's passing. He was so important to the Salado festivals and he was such a stable influence. Frank and I had a dram together after the banquet in Salado last year, talked a bit about the Wallace AGM, and how well Salado had gone. Never imagined it would be the last time.

Lynne and family you have our prayers and best wishes and please know that we held in Frank in high regard. The Texas Scottish community will sorely miss such an important soul.

Greek statesman Pericles (495-429 BC) said words to the effect, โ€œWhat you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.โ€ Remembering Frank Leslie will always bring a smile to my face because over the twelve years I have known Frank, the humor far outweighed our other joint endeavors; and for this, I am grateful. May he forever Rest in Peace! May God bless his family and ease their sorrow.

Lynne, I have so many memories of Frank but the sweetest memory is when I brought Dad out to the games in Arlington. Frank picked him up in a golf cart, brought him to the tent and was so gentle with him. Initially he didn't want to go, I think because of his health and the walking, but I said, no, let's do it. I'm so glad that they got to visit and now I'm sure they are having a nice Scotch in heaven. Dad thought so highly of Frank. My heart is with you. I love you both!

Lynne, we are both sorry for your loss. Our hearts will miss Frank. Frank was a good neighbor and watched our home for us as we also did for him and Lynne.
I wonder if there is a rifle range or a Leslie Clan meeting in heaven?
You are/were a good friend and neighbor.
