George Francis Lemire was born on May 10, 1950 to George Joseph and Mary Blanche Lemire in Stafford Springs, CT and he passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013 in Copperas Cove.
He married Triss Topel in 1973 and they had two sons; Joshua and Nathan.
George retired from the US Army as a 1SG/E8 on July 3, 1991 at Ft Hood, TX.
He is survived by his wife, Triss, his sons; Joshua Lemire and wife Antoinette and Nathan Lemire and wife Summer. He will also be missed by his two grandchildren Nina and Alex Lemire, two brothers and four sisters.
