Memorial services for Grace Rodriguez, 80, formerly of Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico will be held in Puerto Rico. She died Aug 27, 2011 in Copperas Cove after a lengthy illness. No local services are planned.
Grace was born in New York City, NY and raised in Guarabo, PR. She was employed in Puerto Rico as a school teacher for 18 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Marcelino Alcala, and by one daughter, Astrid.
Survivors include one daughter, Estmer Taylor of Copperas Cove, and one son, Marcelino Alcala, Jr. of Trujillo Alto Puerto Rico. Cremation services have been entrusted to Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Copperas Cove.
