Guillermo R. Morrison

Guillermo R. Morrison, age 88, of Copperas Cove, Texas passed away at his home on Saturday, July 5, 2025. Guillermo was born in the Panama, Republic of Panama on January 16, 1937 to parents Margarita Lan and William Morrison.

Guillermo attended and graduated from the Arte y Oficio located in Panama, Republic of Panama. After Guillermo graduated, he joined the United States Army where he served an honorable 14 years. He earned several commendations including the NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, the Expert Badge Rifle, and others. He ended his military career as a Sergeant.

He was happily married to Marva Morrison for 64 years who dedicated her entire life in making sure he had a fulfilling life and stood by his side until his last breath. Guillermo was known as "BING" ; he was loved and admired by everyone. His passion for life was reflected in his smile. Guillermo was also known for his love for dancing and unique style.

Guillermo is survived by his loving wife Marva Morrison, his sister Alegra, 4 daughters Damaris, Dilxia, Debora, and Dalys and 2 sons Roberto and Guillermo Jr., along with 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 5 nephews.

A Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Tuesday July 15th at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home. A Funeral Service for Guillermo will be held on July 16, 2025 beginning at 11am at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove immediately followed by the committal service at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
