Ida Ashcraft, 81, of Copperas Cove died Thursday evening at Scott and White hospital in Temple, Texas after a short illness. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel, Copperas Cove, Texas.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00am Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at Copperas Cove City Cemetery. Ida was born in Oettingen, Germany on August 23, 1933. Ida worked at Terri Lynn Sewing Factory in Copperas Cove for over 10 years.
She is preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Ashcraft. Survivors include her husband Carlton Ashcraft, daughter, Christine Thompson of Copperas Cove, son Tony Ashcraft of Ft. Worth, granddaughters Shannon Thompson of Copperas Cove, and Casey Saldivar of San Antonio, sister, Emma Wolf of Germany, and numerous nieces and nephews.
