Ingeborg "Inge" Ginn, 96, whom her family affectionately called their Austrian princess, passed away on October 25, 2026 in Copperas Cove, Texas. A long time resident of Radcliff, Kentucky, she moved with family to Texas in 2017 following the death of her husband, Retired Sergeant Major John Henry Ginn of Tylertown, Mississippi.
A native of Vienna, Austria, Ing married John, then a soldier in the U.S. Army, and left her WWII- torn homeland to join him at duty stations across America and Europe. She became a proud U.S. citizen in 1956. The couple settled in radcliff, Kentucky, in 1964, where they raised three daughters and owned Ginn Apartments on Hill Street. They made Stithton Baptist Church their spiritual home, and her faith remained a source of strength throughout her life.
In addition to being a homemaker and artist, Inge was widely known for her remarkable skill as a seamstress, knitter, and quilter, and her Elm Road home was often filled with friends gathered for quilting. Above all, she was admired for her elegance and gracious nature. Though she mastered English, she never lost her charming Viennese accent, and she welcomed everyone with warmth.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Anna (Zika) Brozak/Bacher/Jakub and Franz Brozak; and her sister and brother, Edith and Albert Bacher.
She is survived by her daughters, Loretta (Ginn) Tucker of Copperas Cove, Texas; Marcia (GInn) Harris of Killeen, Texas; and Angela (Ginn) Koenig of Cincinnati, Ohio; her sisters, Ruth (Bacher) Nigrovic of Vienna, Austria, and Sylvia (Brozak) Twedt of Norway; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren
Services to say "Farewell," " Auf Wiedersehen," and goodnight to Inge will be held at a date/location to be announced.
She will forever be our Austrian princess.
