Iris Jeannette Johnson

Iris Jeannette Johnson, age 62, of Kempner, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. Iris was born March 2, 1960 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Elljay Grace and Ellen Fuller. Iris Jeannette Johnson, one of ten children. She attend high school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Mastbaum High School. Once married to Rodney Bruce James, now deceased, who together had three children, whom she loved more than herself. Iris, re-married on August 8", 2012 to Lawrence Johnson, Jr., in Killeen, Texas. Iris leaves behind her children; Christopher Bruce James his wife Josephine J. James; Asalee L. James and Rodney Bruce James JR. Along with Six Grandchildren: Lavonta James, Jazzmine James, Malik James, Trevion Thomson and Rhana James. Two Wonderful Great Grandsons: Ezra aka Wild Boy and Jeremy aka Bad Boy also call Peanut. Three sibling who are still living Sister: Annette Thomas-Nash, Sybil Fuller-Morgan and Carolyn Jackson, who she Loved very deeply. Conversate with all time of the day and night. Also, left behind is husband Lawrence Johnson, Jr. and his family, Mother-in law Mary B. Johnson and four other children: Perry Lee Johnson, Deborah Ann Woods, Jennifer Johnson and Mildred T. Price. Iris was proceeded in death by a grandchild Sabine James. Iris also known as Sir I is loved by all her family and close friends. She was out going and adventurous individual who never meet a stranger and was willing to help anyone in need. Iris's love will be truly missed by everyone that knew her. A visitation for Iris will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 211 W Avenue B, Copperas Cove, Texas 76522. Following the visitation there will be a graveside service held at 3:00 PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 State Highway 195, Killeen, Texas 76542.
