Jesse A. Noell Jr.

He was born January 26, 1936 in Lynchburg, Virginia to the late Jesse Noell, Sr. and Lewis Noell. He was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was the oldest of four siblings.

He proudly served in the United States Army for twenty years and retired in 1975 in Fort Hood, Texas. He served two tours in Vietnam, earning the bronze star and Vietnam service medal with one silver and three bronze service stars.

He moved his family to Copperas Cove, Texas. After he retired from the military he worked overseas in the Marshall Islands for twenty-one years until he retired full time.

Survivors include a sister, Jerry Farlow and brother-in-law James Farlow, Sr., his nephew, Jimmy Farlow in Bedford, Virginia, his daughter, Donna Spargo and son-in-law, Mark Spargo of Copperas Cove, Texas. He is also survived by his grandchildren, John Noell in Kansas, Amanda Robinson in Gatesville, Texas, Michael Noell in Roby, Texas, Amber Sequra in Post, Texas and Daniel Votion in Copperas Cove, Texas and Mark Spargo, Jr. He has eleven great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jytte Noell, a son, John Noell and daughter, Dianna Noell and two sisters, Lou Driskell and Emily Patten.

An internment service with military honors for Jesse will be held Monday, August 15, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 State Highway 195, Killeen, Texas.
