My husband and I met Josephine about 6yrs ago. My husband worked for her. It was a pleasure meeting you. You are going to truly be missed. I am especially going to miss our late night chats.

When I first learned of your passing, it was a bit overwhelming.  I’ve spent the last couple of weeks trying to find the right words to acknowledge my sorrow while celebrating our friendship.  I saw a video of you dancing and was immediately reminded of Psalms 30:5.    You brought so much joy, light, and love into our friendship and the lives of so many you touched.  The laughs, the conversations, and especially those bingo moments you loved so much.  No more pain my sweet Lady, just joyous dancing.  Thank you for being my beautiful friend. Miss Howell, Me and Iris were best friends back when y’all were in Virginia, I was at your house everything single weekend. You were always so nice to me. I was so upset when y’all moved away. I’m an adult now and i understand why now. You have always been a go getter and you will definitely be missed.  RIP Miss Howell.

I had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Howell at Niya and Jaz graduation dinner. She was very sweet and kind. Take your rest soldier, no more pain. Prayers for the family as they mourn your loss.🎈🌹

Josephine Howell was my ride or die chick, as  you see we were in Las Vegas the height of Covid. I live in Houston but nothing stopped us from meeting in Vegas,  (3) times a year. Josephine you’re going to be truly  missed. I pray your soul rest in the hands of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Rest my friend until we meet again.!

Josephine I will greatly miss you.  I met Josephine at Fort Hood bingo, that’s what we enjoyed doing together.  Josephine became my best friend we called each other sisters.  We got to travel together and had so much fun together, we could talk about anything and everything.  She got to met all of my family and became part of our family.  She loved life and was strong spirit, she didn’t let on to anyone that she had an illness.  She fought until the very end.  
Josephine I will always cherish our friendship and you can rest now my sister.   You are in Gods Hand.  Rest in Peace.   I love you  your sister forever! Barbara Abel

Josephine will be greatly missed. I met Josephine at Fort Hood. She kept me laughing. I loved every chance we got to hangout with each other. I’m grateful for the friendship and time.  I’m really going to miss talking with her. I always told her I got her, but now, God has her and she is at peace.

This was October 2025. Josephine getting   down. She had a blast. That was our last trip together.  She told me afterward, don’t post this on social  media. I said why ? She said because Im on  social Security i’m supposed to be disabled. I said SS can see that damn  Walker. She was funny! Rest my friend.

Josephine gave true meaning to: Living each day if though it was your last. She loved to travel and she didn’t let on to anyone she had an illness. She told me the doctors wanted to send her home with hospice. She said “they can go home with hospice, I have a couple more cruises to go on” and she did go. She said everything was in God hands, He has the date and time. We prayed the sinners pray and she said she was fine. She will truly be missed.

I will cherish the great memories that we made in Vegas. Your beautiful spirit and smile always lit up the room. Keep dancing in heaven my friend. Your presence will truly be missed.  Rest In Heaven Ms. Jay.

Ms. Josephine you are going to be truly missed at the bingo hall.... sorry we didn't get a change to ride the bus with you to Oklahoma, I was looking forward to it this year :( Rest in Paradise until we meet again
