Julius Ervin Hadnot was born May 31, 1977, in Beaumont, Texas, the fifth of five children, to Hubert Julian Hadnot (deceased) and Diann Hadnot. Julius passed away at his home on August 12, 2021. He graduated from Westbrook High School in Beaumont, Texas, Class Of 1995.
In November 1995, Julius enlisted in the United States Army in which he served honorably for 20 years and retired as a “Sergeant First Class”. During his time in the service he served in Iraq and Korea. He received a Meritorious Service Medal, 4 Army Commendation Medals and other Meritorious Unit awards.
Julius had a great smile and a mischievous yet disarming nature that provided him friends from around the country. He loved spending time with his family, military friends and the C/O ‘95. All anyone had to say to Julius is, “Lets,’’ and Julius was already in his truck before the word “Go.” He was a master on the grill and in the kitchen, he enjoyed sharing recipes, pictures of food he created, a good game of dominos, and a good drink (every now and then). He was a true Dallas Cowboy fan with fierce intensity, an Avid Gamer and he loved comic books. Don’t let him get started on Facebook; you will not win.
Julius was preceded in death by his father, Hubert J. Hadnot. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daugther, Jailan Emoni Hadnot; his sons Jonny Miller, Jason Moulton-Hadnot, Ja’Kai E. Hadnot, Xavier Israel Hadnot; his mother Diann Hadnot; his siblings, Ronald Generrio Hadnot (Pamela), LeTony Warren Hadnot, Sr. (Kanta), Schronda Hadnot Grant and his twin Jackie Deshon Hall and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A visitation for Julius will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM with funeral services to follow at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at 3pm.
