OBITUARY

Katherine Marie O'Shea

September 15, 1964May 1, 2020

Katherine Marie O’Shea died Friday, May 1, 2020 at her home. Katherine was born September 15, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois, to Rosalind and William Wilkie. She dutifully served her first season of adult life as an Army wife who moved more than a dozen times, overseas and back again. After settling in Central Texas, Katherine married her best friend, Daniel M. O’Shea, to whom she was married just days shy of twenty years. Katherine and Dan enjoyed spending their free time traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with friends and family, especially their four grandchildren. She had a voracious appetite for reading, gardening, crafting, singing, attempting to dance, and making those around her laugh (most notably while either singing or dancing). Katherine was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Theresa Marie Howe. She is survived by her husband, daughters Jennifer Howe Peel and Michelle Howe Carter (Ross), grandchildren Audrey Hernandez, Harper Peel, Cooper Peel, and Landon Carter, siblings Billy Wilkie and Karen Morelli-Wilkie, and by her extended family and friends. A celebration of Katherine’s life is pending. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Katherine’s memory to your local library or a non-profit of your choice.
