Kazuko Yaggi, 86, of Copperas Cove, Texas, passed away at her daughter's home in Troy, MO on August 31, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 24,1932 in Japan to Kankle and Kana (Hega) Tanghala. Kazuko was raised from the age of five by her step-father: Zeto Miyagi. She met her husband Ronald Yaggi in Japan and they were later married on February 4,1957 in Okinawa, Japan. To this union were born four children; Martha, Barbara, James and Susan. Kazuko was an excellent homemaker and showed her love by cooking delicious meals for her family and friends. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards, crocheting and fishing. Kazuko shared all of these pastimes with her children.
She is survived by her three children; Martha (George) Tompkins of Van Buren, Arkansas, James (Yvonne) Yaggi of Huntsville, Texas, Susan (Paul) Denen of Troy, son-in-law: Wayne Howard of Copperas Cove, Texas, six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three siblings; Katsayuki Miyagi, Mitsuko Toma, Yukiko Nash and many other relatives and friends.
Kazuko was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Ronald Yaggi, her daughter: Barbara Howard and her grandson: Michael Orton.
Visitation will be held at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379 from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.
