Kenneth was born on December 31, 1941, in Queensbury, New York, to Ralph E. Doyle, Sr., and Jessie Mae (Bombard) Doyle. He was raised and graduated high school in Copperas Cove, Texas, where he built a life rooted in hard work, family, and community.
On September 15, 1973, Kenneth married the love of his life, Mary Ann Doyle, in Copperas Cove. Together, they raised six children and created a home filled with love and laughter.
Kenneth was a dedicated and loyal employee of Rhodes Meat Market since high school until Mr. Rhodes retired and Walmart came to Copperas Cove, where he transitioned to the seafood department and became affectionately known as "Catfish Ken." He remained committed to the company until his retirement in recent years.
In his younger years and outside of work, Kenneth enjoyed playing pool at Southern Nights, taking his wife to the casinos, and spending time at The Kettle with friends, sharing coffee and conversation. He was a proud supporter of veterans, especially cherishing his daughter Lori’s service in the United States Air Force.
A talented carpenter, Kenneth found joy in woodworking, creating many cherished pieces that will live on in his family for generations to come.
Kenneth is survived by his children: David Doyle, Richard Culver, Lori Brown (Gary) Bordman, Catherine Brown (Johnny) Johnson, Robert (Beth) Brown; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Connie (Jeff) Shelton, Ralph Doyle and Judi Lewis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Doyle; his daughter, Tresa Doyle-Garcia; his parents; his siblings, Roger Doyle, Deborah Shelton, Lois Perrine, and John Doyle.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kline Veterans Fund in Kenneth’s honor, supporting veterans and their families in need.
