Kyle Jazztin Mata Moore, 18, of Copperas Cove, Texas, was born on August 10, 2008, in Trece Martirez, Philippines, and passed away on September 11, 2026. Though his time was far too brief, Kyle’s life reflected steady purpose, quiet determination, and a deep capacity for growth—qualities that became evident in the many places he called home and the many goals he pursued with care.
Kyle began his education in the Philippines before later moving to Kuwait, where he attended the Philippine International School. During those years, he broadened his world not only through school, but through language—learning to speak his native language as well as English and Arabic. In 2018, he moved to the United States and continued his education at House Creek Elementary School. He later attended SC Lee Junior High School, where he ran cross country and met Coach Andrews. After completing junior high, he went on to Copperas Cove High School.
As Kyle grew, so did his interests and ambitions. He made the deliberate choice to step away from cross country and take up tennis—an interest that soon became his passion. He loved tennis more than he loved burgers and fries, a detail that never failed to leave an impression on those who knew him best. With the same resolve that shaped his athletic pursuits, Kyle also dedicated himself to learning a skilled profession. Much to everyone’s surprise, he studied to be a Phlebotomist. He was certified in CPR and received his pin from the CCMA class, achievements that reflected both discipline and a sincere willingness to prepare himself to serve others.
Kyle was preceded in death by his dad Ariel Orana; Uncle Angelo Mata; grandfather Pablito Macahilig; grandmother Ofelia Macahilig; great grandmother Elvira Jackson; grandfather Jimmie Moore; and uncles Oscar Moore, Ernest Moore, Darryl Moore, and Gabriel Mata.
He is survived by his parents, Tyrone and Angelica Moore; grandmother Marjorie Moore; grandmother and grandfather Yolanda and Ernesto Mata; aunts Angelita Mata, Angela Mata, and April Rose Mata; cousins Annika, Ethan, and Shaun Timothy Mata in the Philippines; siblings Tyron Moore of Baltimore, MD, Anterika Moore and Tyrone Moore Jr. of Killeen, TX; and a host of other cousins, nieces, and nephews of Coffeeville, MS, and various places across the United States.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9am to 1pm on Saturday September 19th, 2026 at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home immediately followed by a Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, food items and donations can be sent to Cash App ($mangaf) and/or dropped off at 2204 Mike Dr., Copperas Cove, TX 76522, all of which will be greatly appreciated.
