Maricela Vela

Maricela was born to Francisco and Bertha Treviño ⴕ, August 9, 1958, in Matamoros, Mexico.

She leaves as her legacy, her life partner, Robert Zepeda, son, Aristotle Ceasar Ponder and wife Denise; daughter, Anna Kristine Johnson and husband Scottie. Grandchildren: Christian Faith Ponder, Kaiden Scott Johnson, and Troy Alexander Ponder. She also leaves to cherish her memory, four siblings: Ciria Rybicki, Diana Estrada, Hector Treviño, and Ercilia Treviño. Nieces and Nephews: Isela Cannon, Mayra Alejandra Velasquez, Cynthia Marie Maldonado, and Francisco Alejandro Castillo.

Her family remembers her as a daughter, sister, mother, aunt, Godmother, cousin, grandmother, friend and loving prayer warrior. Amongst all the above, a follower of Jesus Christ.

Maricela was internationally known and loved. Many were touched and healed by her anointed gift of prayer!

Maricela will always be remembered as a loving, caring, kind, generous, strong, selfless, endearing, and fearless woman. As the matriarch of the family, she will be missed dearly. May she watch over all of us until we meet again.
