

She was a member of the Girl Guides and enjoyed participating in various community service events as a young lady.
On August 3, 1968 Marjorie married a United State Army Soldier, James Dumdie. Marjorie and James were great friends before they were married. In fact James purchased a friendship ring for Marjorie to keep until he returned from Germany. A ring she cherished for over 48 years.
Marjorie earned a certification in Medical Records Management and she worked as the Medical Records Manager for many years.
During her retirement years, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow. Some of her proudest moments were seeing them graduate high school and attending her husband’s college graduation.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents Cyril and Hannah (Binney) Robson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years James Dumdie , two sons Mark and John Dumdie; six grandchildren Clint, Gary, Hannah, Claire, Jordan and Michael Dumdie and one brother, Cyril Arthur Robson.
A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Copperas Cove. Funeral services will be held at
10:00 AM on Thursday, May 25, 2017 in the Chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Copperas Cove. Burial will follow at 12:00 PM in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
