Mary Louise Leslie

Mary was raised in Missouri with 4 siblings; a brother Edward Leslie and three sisters Linda Leslie, Shirley Leslie and Mary Ann Gamble.

Mary enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. Her favorite pursuits were cooking, especially soul food, watching WWE Wresting, Houston Texans and watching JJ Watts play. She was content to enjoy her favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share her interests with others.

Mary loved God and her bible. Her favorite scriptures were John 3:16-17 and Psalms 3:16-17. Both of which were the last she recited. Mary was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Bellmead, Texas.

Mary Louise Leslie was known as many things to many people. She was a kind and loving person. So much so that Mary would worry about giving gifts for the holidays to family members, but always found a way to do it. Mary will be truly missed and will always be in our hearts.

Mary is survived by her brother Edward Leslie, her sister Shirley Leslie and her sister Mary Ann Gamble, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother Leaner Leslie and sister, Linda Leslie.

A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, October 21, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 211 W Avenue B, Copperas Cove, Texas. A graveside service officiated by Pastor Brill Stone will occur Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Kempner Cemetery, Kempner, Texas.
